FLORE FLORE is looking for a talented Designer to assist in the design department, functioning as the right hand to the Founder and Creative Director.

Launched in the summer of 2021, FLORE FLORE is an Amsterdam-based brand created with the purpose to simplify a woman’s wardrobe with quality basics made from organic cotton. All cotton classics are characterized by the renowned clean and minimalistic design, enhancing the authentic character of the woman who wears them. FLORE FLORE is produced in Portugal, by a family-owned factory run by a mother-daughter duo. All creations are made of organic cotton and all paper packaging is FSC® certified. As a brand, FLORE FLORE values the kinship between material durability, fabrication integrity, and longevity of style.

FLORE FLORE is sold at some of the world’s esteemed stores like SSENSE, Moda Operandi, Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Harvey Nichols in London, ByGeorge in Austin and Princess in Antwerp.

FLORE FLORE’s collections consist of 4 annual drops, focused on continuously building on timeless simplicity and tailoring. All designed with comfort and confidence in mind with a focus on cotton classics. Collections are not built on trend but around fundamental wardrobe pieces. FLORE FLORE aims to be the basic brand in the luxury market, the collections stand for exquisite craftmanship and high quality fabrics. FLORE FLORE is on an exciting growth journey and as a Designer you will together with the founder & the team play an important role in developing FLORE FLORE’s future direction and form the design team.

Responsibilities:

• The key responsibility as a Designer will be to refine and establish a strong and scalable sustainable design process, closely collaborating with the creative director/head designer
• Oversee the development of the collection and making sure collections are developed according to the strategic plan and vision
• Recommending the FLORE FLORE team on trends and constantly seeking creative inspiration
• Create working drawings, by hand and illustrator as well as tech packs 
• Research, design and develop new concepts for upcoming collections and sustainable fabric sourcing
• Participate in fittings 
• Assist in development of prototypes and samples
• Participate in design and production trips  

Requirements:

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset
• +3 years of experience 
  
• You can combine commerce with meaning 
• Expert in Adobe creative suite – especially InDesign and Illustrator 
• Great knowledge of the cotton woven and jersey textiles industry
• You have sensibility towards the Fashion and Luxury sector 
• You are highly organized and meticulous attention to detail 
• You understand and embrace FLORE FLORE’s vision and values
• Excellent communication skills in english – written and oral 
• Ability to work independently and across a team 
• Bachelor degree in Fashion & Design
